Bass producer WibeZz and Canadian vocalist May-Ah are back with “DRIP,” an atmospheric new single that pairs experimental low-end pressure with melodic, dreamlike vocals. Available now, the release is the third collaboration from the two artists.
The story behind the partnership reaches back three years, when WibeZz—producer Felix Wiele—and May-Ah met at an outdoor doof in Australia. Their encounter soon became a musical collaboration, producing their first track, “Illusions.” A year on from their most recent release together, the duo return with “DRIP,” continuing to develop their cross-border sound.
WibeZz’s musical identity is rooted in dubstep, bass and freeform 140. With multiple releases through labels, particularly in the U.S. bass ecosystem, he has cultivated a style that favours experimental sound design, heavy sub frequencies and tribal-inspired rhythmic patterns. His productions move beyond genre conventions while retaining the physical energy essential to the dancefloor.
May-Ah provides “DRIP” with its emotional center. Her sweet, fluid vocal performance adds lightness and intimacy to the track’s darker electronic framework, making the collaboration feel equally immersive and impactful.
Together, WibeZz and May-Ah offer a compelling blend of experimental bass music and vocal-led atmosphere on “DRIP.”
